Content-driven commerce demand continued to rise with Influencer partnerships and community marketing growing by 40%, highlighting the shift toward authenticity in customer engagement.
 
The D2C space in India saw 15% year-on-year growth, led by categories like beauty, wellness, and sustainable apparel. The GCC region emerged as one of the fastest-growing premium digital commerce markets, with the sector valued at $50 billion by the end of 2024, reflecting an annual growth rate of 20%.
 
Despite these successes, globally observed challenges such as rising customer acquisition costs (CAC) by 20%-25% and growing marketplace commissions persisted influencing the brands to increase focus on organic discovery and retention strategies for profitable growth.
 
As we enter 2025, opportunities abound for brands focusing on tech-enabled expereinces, data-driven marketing, and omnichannel scalability. Innovations in autonomous last-mile delivery, AI-powered customer insights, and hyperlocal logistics solutions are expected to shape the future of retail.
